The idea

Norway as a
designed object.

This is the fjord country read through its architecture and its tables — hotels that were built for their view, a family inn that has stood on the Sognefjord since 1640, and a river gorge where the rooms are made of glass. Between them: the Flåm railway, the Nærøyfjord, the road over Trollstigen, and a water-express to Iris, one of the most talked-about restaurants in the north. You travel with a private driver-guide, or take a premium electric car and keep the road your own.
